Srinagar, Jul 07 (KNS): Commissioner Secretary Tourism Rigzian Sampheal Sunday convened an overview meeting with the travel and hospitality region representatives at Royal Springs Golf Course.
Director Tourism Kashmir Nisar Ahmad Wani, Deputy Director Enforcement Amarjit Singh, Deputy Director Registration Syed Shabir Ahmad, Deputy Director Publicity Riyaz Ahmad Shah, Deputy Director Recreation Sarfaraz Mohammad, Deputy Director M&W Zahoor Ahmad, Assistant Directors of diverse visitor locations were gifted within the meeting.
During the meeting, the representatives from inn, tour, and houseboat owners associations, while lauding the tourism branch’s promotional campaigns, gave their hints and comments to the Commissioner Secretary.
They advised the department to go more vigorous on social media for tourism marketing and vacation spot promotions.
The representatives also sought the branch’s participation in all the tour trade fairs across the u. S.
Rigzian Sampheal informed them that the department had launched aggressive advertising campaigns on social media below the slogans “Kashmir Calling” and “When Are You Visiting?”.
He said this marketing campaign on social media is getting the right response and engagement from the capacity travelers. He also said that after obtaining proper permissions from the concerned government, the branch could provide stay drone insurance for the traveler activities on a normal basis so travelers will see how to play their vacations freely at one-of-a-kind health motels.
Commissioner Secretary Tourism said the J&K Tourism department is the highest spender among all United States’ tourism boards on promotional commercials in countrywide newspapers.
He further informed that the advertising campaigns are proving fruitful as traveler influx to Kashmir is choosing up.
