Sabudana Vada

This is an awesome snack for which you need to soak a bowl of sago in water for around 2 hours. Now take 3 boiled potatoes. Peel off the skin and mash them. Add 2 tablespoons of coarsely crushed groundnuts and the soaked sabudana to it. Add rock salt, green chilies as per your taste, and half a cup of finely chopped fresh coriander to it. Mix all these and make equal portions of it. Now take one portion of this mix and flatten it. Meanwhile, add oil to your electric fryer and switch it on. Place these vadas in the deep fryer and fry till they turn golden in color.

Kuttu (Buckwheat) Pooris

As bread forms an integral part of the Indian diet, flour made of buckwheat, tapioca pearls, and water caltrop is used. Add some starchy vegetables to buckwheat flour like boiled, peeled, and grated colocasia or potato. Add some rock salt and make a dough of normal consistency using water. Now make small pooris out of this dough and fry them in your electric fryer. You can enjoy these yummy pooris with potato curry and curd.

French Fries

Take 4 medium-sized potatoes and peel and slice them into French fries. Please keep them in cold water so they won’t turn brown. Meanwhile, add oil to your fryer and switch it on. Drain the fries once the oil is ready. Sprinkle some ragi flour on the fries and toss them. Now place these fries in the fryer and fry till they turn crisp. Singhara Pakoras

These are made from a mixture of Singhare Ka Atta (Water Chestnut Flour) and boiled potatoes. Boil and peel 4-5 potatoes. Mash them coarsely and add 2 finely chopped green chilies and half a cup of fresh coriander. Take a cup of water chestnut flour and add 1/2 a cup of water to make a thick batter. Add rock salt, black pepper, and green chilies as per your taste to it. Next, add the potato mixture and mix it all. Start putting in small dumplings of this mixture in the electric fryer and fry till golden in color.
