We are in our series entitled Faith for Jav Leech Finances. Today, we’re discussing Faith for Finances: It’s Time for a Paradigm Shift. Glory to God.
A paradigm shift has to do with mindset. A paradigm shift is a thorough exchange of underlying beliefs or ideas. That definition is an intensive change in an underlying notion or thesis.
As we mentioned formerly, we do the things we do due to how our questioning has been fashioned. Our wondering has been shaped by authority figures, phrases, reviews, folks, and social surroundings. Our social environment could be who we permit to communicate into our lives, from our peer corporations, co-employees, church contributors, etc. Our thinking comes from repetitious data received through the years. Whatever you always feed upon, that’s what grows.
So, we must watch what we allow to move into our “delegates” and “ear gates.” For instance, we cannot study everything on TV and assume it may not impact us. We also should watch what we allow to pop out of our mouths. We should usually measure the Word of God as to what’s actual or false, then handle it accordingly. We drop it if it is fake; we preserve it if it is genuine. Finally, our thoughts are shaped with the aid of our existing studies. So, it would help if you corresponded to some current stories you’ve been listening to repetitively; you tend to go along with them. For example, if you’ve been taught that every short human is suggested and you meet a quick person, and they may be presented to you, you tend to agree with what you’ve been taught.
However, the question that we have to ask ourselves is, “Who instructed you?” Who informed you what you reflect on yourself or what you consider a particular scenario you’re in? Then we ask, “What changed into their cause?” Why did they inform you? Would they take advantage of it in some manner? Finally, we ask, “Did they tell you the truth?” Some authority figures tell us exceptional things. Some matters that they told us have been with an excellent cause and were the reality. However, a few issues we have suggested have been self-serving lies. We usually have to check what we have been advised and therefore accept as true with God’s Word.
Our center scriptures for this lesson are three: John 2 and Joshua 1: 8:
“Beloved, I wish above all matters that thou mayest prosper and be in health, at the same time as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 2
“This book of the regulation shall no longer leave out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night time, that thou mayest examine to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy manner prosperous, and then thou shalt have top fulfillment.” Joshua 1:8

So, we must meditate on God’s Word and make our manner prosperous. It’s now not simply going to manifest. A lot of human beings are great lazy. They think that benefits will fall on them from the sky and that they don’t should do something to get them. However, the Bible says we make our manner wealthy. We observe God; we meditate on His Word, after which He instructs us. He tells us activities, we move approximately, and we do those matters; the next issue is wealth. Also, we’ve succeeded because we do it in God’s manner. We don’t have all that hullaballoo that the sector has… Messing up their Peace… I cannot sleep at night. I don’t forget Deion Sanders pronouncing how he had the satisfactory bed cash ought to purchase, yet could not get any relaxation. Before he knew Jesus, he could lie in that high-priced bed; however, he had no peace. Without Jesus, you could have the achievement. However, it might not be top fulfillment. It will have sorrow with it. Godly success is observed through Peace, as we’ve visible on bumper stickers, “No Jesus = No Peace. Know Jesus = Know Peace.” We have Peace in conjunction with our progress. When we observe His principles, We have appropriate fulfillment.
So, it is time for a paradigm shift.
Romans 12:2 says,
“And be now not conformed to this international: but be ye converted using the renewing of your thoughts, that ye may additionally show what’s that properly, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
We do not concentrate on the arena. We aren’t to be conformed to this world. The prefix “con” here approaches “with,” so you’re being shaped with the arena, in line with the world. We’re not to try this. We’re not to be conformed to this global but transformed. The prefix “trans” approaches “across,” so you’re going far from what they may be doing. You’re no longer lining up with them; you are going across. You’re getting away from them. Be transformed by way of the renewing of your mind. It would help if you renewed your thoughts.
You’ve got some junk in there that does not belong; it does not align with the Word of God. “Pre-Christ” for your lifestyles, you obtain some stuff in there that you gotta take away. Specifically, concerning faith for the budget, most of the sector people aren’t financially comfortable. I assume all of us could agree with that. This is a statistic that I’ve heard, and I’m now not sure if that is correct. However, I heard ninety-eight of the population is dead or lifeless by age 65. I hope it’s not 98% because that is a huge variety. There’s the simplest 2% left. However, whether 98% is accurate, we recognize that most humans fall into the class of being useless or lifeless through sixty-five. We do not want to be a part of that range, whatever it’s far. We don’t need to conform to the world’s manner of doing matters because we do not need to be lifeless or dead broke with the aid of the age of 65.
We want to be in that 2% or inside the minority, which can be doing matters God’s way and walking inside the blessing of God. So be converted by renewing your mind to show what God’s desirable, acceptable, and best will is. What we want is a change in our selection-making system. We want to make selections based totally on God’s Word and now, not on something else. We need to restore how we come to the decisions that we make and how we make selections. We must obey God and exchange the manner we suppose on the cause. It’s now not going to be an automatic factor. We need to re-learn some things. We must purposely take out the junk and put in something right. It’s a practical movement; it is not something you do half-asleep.
You should be aware of what you are doing. I became attentive to a sermon, and the pastor spoke about this alternative principle. He talked about how various people need to be good in their lifestyles, and they say, “God, make me appropriate. Take away the horrific stuff.” However, it is now not that simple. He explained that we could not just expect God to take something out. We should replace it with something else. He used an illustration wherein he had a container with some liquid in it, and he started to position rocks into the field just so the liquid would come out and roll over onto the field’s parameters.
Watching this instance, I realized we should install something heavier than what is already internal in our packing containers. In science, we study displacement, which is required for this replacement to arise. In this case, the liquid was no longer in the area. While the heavy rocks were placed into the box, They became displaced by the stone. In this example, the drink will be bad, and the stone will be the best issue. So the teInliquid ponent bthe liquid y displacing it; by setting something into your container, it’s heavier than what is already internal. I hear the Holy Spirit saying, “This Rock is Jesus!” Hallelujah! God’s Word, the reward God, is heavier than any junk that the arena has used to form our questioning, and it can displace it! That’s true news.
We can alternate. We must ensure we are inclined to do it for the cause.
Isaiah 55:78 says,
“Let the wicked forsake his manner, and the unrighteous guy his thoughts: and let him go back unto the Lord, and he can have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he’s going to pardon abundantly. For my thoughts aren’t your mind, neither are your approaches my approaches, saith the Lord.”
We ought to forsake our methods, much like the depraved should leave his way. We should go with what our flesh thinks is right and what our so-called buddies assume is proper. We have to go to it. If it is not lining up with the measuring stick – or doesn’t align with God’s Word, we must junk it. We have to take it away. So, we want to forsake that, forsake the unrighteous mind, and return to the Lord, who will have mercy and abundantly pardon. We also want to adopt God’s wondering system, His selection-making procedure. His thoughts aren’t our thoughts. We have to tackle His thoughts. His methods are not our methods. We should take on His methods.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 says,
“For even though we walk in the flesh, we do no longer conflict after the flesh: (For the guns of our warfare aren’t carnal, however robust via God to the pulling down of sturdy holds;) Casting down imaginations, and each excessive thing that exalteth itself towards the information of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
A stronghold can be a terrific factor if you have the proper fort nearby. Defense is a mental concept pattern; it is how you reflect on considering things. That’s a stronghold. It’s what is deep down inside of you. It’s what you keep. It’s your default. Those are strongholds. So, again, some are desirable, and a few are awful. The horrific ones are the ones opposite God’s will. So, we ought to cast them down. We forged down imaginations and each excessive thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and produces into captivity each idea to the obedience of Christ.
Romans 7:22-25 additionally illustrates that we need to comply with God’s order. In this passage, it says:
“For I pride in the law of God after the inward guy: But I see every other regulation in my members, warring against the law of my thoughts, and bringing me into captivity to the regulation of sin in my members. O wretched guy that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this loss of life? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then, with the mind, I serve the regulation of God; however, with the flesh, the law of sin.”
Then in Ephesians four:23-24, it says,
“And be renewed within the spirit of your mind; and that ye placed on the new guy, which after God is created in righteousness and authentic holiness.”
So, you will be thinking, “What does all this have to do with religion for finances?” Everything. The mind is the battleground in which the devil will ship defeating thoughts to us. Our thinking controls our moves. If we meditate on what the devil has instructed us, we will then act on it and bring about failure. We need to renew our minds with the Word of God. We should have a paradigm shift to the Word of God.
We’ll choose right here on subsequent time, after which flow onto tthis series’s how-to.
