Cellulite Treatment

Cellulite is a condition in which the skin appears to have specific areas of fat deposits, which can make the skin look dimpled and lumpy. Cellulite is often present on the thighs and upper arms of the body, giving the skin a dimpled appearance. Cellulite is often classified using three grades. Grade 1 cellulite has no clinical symptoms, but a microscopic examination can reveal minute anatomical changes in the body.  Symptoms of Grade 2 cellulite, however, include pasty skin, and lower temperature. Along with this, the skin has decreased elasticity, and microscopic anatomic changes of the cells. Grade 3 cellulite has the above symptoms, and includes a change in the texture of the skin – making the skin rough. Though cellulite can occur in both males and females, females tend to have a higher chance of having cellulite because of the particular kind of fat and connective tissue involved.

Cellulite growth has a multiplicity of causes, which makes it difficult to pinpoint a specific cause for each individual. Rather, there are certain influential factors that are at play, each of which can affect the growth of cellulite in the body. Hormonal factors are important because hormones play an essential role in the development of cellulite, and certain key hormones, like oestrogen and insulin, play a key role in the development of cellulite. Genetic factors can be a cause as well, because certain genes are required for cellulite development. This means that if your mother or father had cellulite, chances are that you will, too.
Diet and lifestyle factors affect the growth of cellulite as well. Those with unhealthy diets are likely to have greater amounts of cellulite, and cellulite may be more prevalent in smokers, and those who do not exercise regularly. Keeping the skin toned and the muscle tight can help reduce the amount of cellulite present in the body, which is why it becomes important to have a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.

Cellulite treatment can be allopathic or alternative. Allopathic forms of cellulite treatment involve using different drugs and medicines to try and control the amount of cellulite present. These drugs are supposed to act on fatty tissues, and can be applied onto the skin, or can be orally ingested. Alternative forms of treatment involve pneumatic massages, heat therapy, magnetic therapy, and electrical stimulation. However, these treatments may work differently for different people. Therefore, it is important to approach and speak to your doctor about the various treatments available, before you decide to do something rash. Certain methods, like liposuction, can be used to remove fat, but not cellulite. This means that you will have less fat in the body, but your skin will still have the dimpled appearance because of cellulite.

HYPOXI in Sydney is a training concept that is developed to combine alternating high and low pressure with exercise to target fat in specific areas of the body. Using this machine, for about 30 minutes, will help you burn specific areas of fat while you work out, and is a safe, healthy alternative to treatments like liposuction. Using exercise to get rid of cellulite will allow you to be able to work specific parts of the body, and keep the skin tight and toned. HYPOXI, therefore, is a wise and healthy choice for cellulite treatment.
