Calcium and Vitamin D

Human teeth, in fact, teeth of mammals are made out of calcium. Hence, to maintain a good oral hygiene it is important to take in adequate amounts of calcium. Nuts and dairy products such as cheese is a good source of calcium. To take in Calcium, adequate amount of Vitamin D is also needed, which is provided by the sunlight. So, don’t forget to walk under the sun for a small while every now and then.

Visit a Dentist Regularly

After following all the above tips, it is also important that you visit the dentist every 6 months. They will check for cavities, gum formations and also plaque and take in the necessary actions.
