How To Really Reward Your MLM Team by Pamtree

The true power of recognition and rewards often gets massively overlooked in profits and margins when your team members are the only margins you need!

When it comes to recognizing and rewarding your MLM team members, here are a few recommendations that work well:

Holidays

A big appeal for many MLM business owners when looking at the MLM industry in the first place is the ability to travel and work from anywhere, so why not use holidays as an incentive?! One way to reward team members and recognize high-achievers and individuals putting in extra work could be an all-expensed paid trip. Nothing says thank you like a paid-for holiday! Oprah Winfrey, the billionaire host/businesswoman, has taken ALL her staff members and their families on several holidays. Nothing is as motivating as being taken away.

Follow the Napoleon Way

As Napoleon once said, “I have made the most wonderful discovery; I have discovered men will risk their lives, even die, for ribbons, and men will also die to avoid having their ribbons taken away.” With this in mind, try offering badges for different ranks, achievements, etc. This might be a good way to give your team recognition without monetary costs. Awards like this will give your team something to aim for and motivate them to continue working as hard once they have achieved the distinction.

Personalized Gifts

The basic psychology of humans means that we’re at least a tiny bit selfish. We love ourselves and naturally look out for our best interests. Why be ashamed of this?! Use this to your strengths. Offer personalized gifts to team members showing outstanding attitudes and efforts. Something like a pen with an engraved message, a box of chocolates with their names on them, etc… Anything that shows you’ve gone out of your way and put effort into the gift – and this can be done inexpensively with a simple Google search.

Events

Is the whole team doing well? Take them out for dinner or a fun activity. Make sure the action is fun and not seen as boring “team-building.” Dinner and drinks normally work perfectly because it’s a relaxed environment that allows everyone to get to know each other without being pushy or awkward.

Delegation

This is one thing that not many MLM business owners recognize. Identifying a team member who’s going above and beyond and is getting great results is a good first step. Then, speak to them and see if they’re willing to take on more responsibility and become an “MLM Champion” in a certain area to lead the rest of the team. They’ll get recognition from the whole group and, in turn, feel more motivated and valued and be happy that their hard work is paying off.
