Leap Motion comes to Windows OS

Leap Motion has announced through a blogpost that it is launching its advanced motion sensing technology onto the Windows OS. In a video released, the company showed users just how the experience would feel like.

With Leap Motion collaborating with Asus and Hewlett Packard to embed its technology within their computers, the announcement about the OS integration is an important one.

According to the company post, “you’ll be able to browse the web and interact with your computer just by moving your hands and fingers in the air. With Leap Motion technology and Windows, you can do everything that’s possible with multi-touch inputs — without actually touching anything. This also means that existing applications in Windows 7 and 8 will respond to your natural hand and finger movements.”

In the post, the company has also said that it will continue to streamline the OS interaction, and also continue to refine the apps that will be released in Airspace, Leap Motion’sapp store, which will be launched in July.

Leap Motion has also promised to release a video showing how the system will look running on a Mac soon.  Leap Motion has said that the pre-ordered Leap motion controllers will be shipped to customers by July 22.
