There have been a number of hoax messages spreading on Facebook, which are completely baseless. Users blindly share hoax messages without even verifying whether it is true or not. One of the recent hoax messages that spread through the network was the “Do Not Add Kelly Hargrove as Your Facebook Friend.”

Today, we spotted yet another hoax message spreading across Facebook and this time it about hackers who have compromised user accounts and are posting false message like insults to their friends. There are several variants of this hoax.

Hackers are now on Facebook and on the walls of your friends, they write insults under your name and you do not know about it!!.You will not see it, but your friends see that your name is written below the written insults. If you get something from me that is offensive, know that it was not me! Copy to your wall..

ATTENTION FRIENDS! HACKERS ARE DOING DAMAGE AGAIN ON FACEBOOK! PORNOGRAPHIC MOVIES ARE BEING POSTED ON OUR BEHALF ON THE WALLS OF OUR PROFILES! WE DO NOT SEE THEM, BUT OTHER PEOPLE DO, AS IF IT WERE OUR PUBLICATION! SOMETIME EVEN OUR SUPPOSED Comments APPEARS. IF YOU SEE SUCH A THING IN MY HOMEPAGE, ALERT ME AND DO NOT OPEN IT BECAUSE IT IS A VIRUS! …COPY AND RE POST THIS MESSAGE

This message is completely false and there is no such report that confirms the above messages. Before you “share” a message like this, make sure you do a quick search on Google to check whether the information is true or not. Reputed blogs will make a note about it whether the information is correct or simply a fake.

Now that you’ve known that the message is a fake, make a good deed by letting your friends know about it by sharing this post with them. Also, make sure that you inform the original poster of the message that the message is simply a hoax.
