Google on Wednesday launched a new version of Forms, bringing real-time collaboration and better editing to the survey tool.

Familiar Of Google

If you’re not familiar with Forms, it lets you create questionnaires, surveys, or quizzes, then automatically collect responses in a Google spreadsheet. With the latest version, you can now collaborate with others while building a Form, a feature that is already available with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

“If you need to work with two colleagues on a survey, all three of you can work on the same form simultaneously and even have a group chat on the side, without leaving the form,” Google software engineer Nick Santos, wrote in a blog post Wednesday.

Improvement Of Google

Google also made some improvements that should make editing Forms a little easier. For starters, you won’t have to worry about losing your changes if your computer crashes or you forget to save, because all changes will now be saved automatically. If you made a mistake, not to worry, as you can now quickly undo and redo edits.

The latest version also brings improved copy-and-paste capabilities. For instance, you can copy a list of bullets from the Web, or multiple rows or text from a spreadsheet, then paste into a form and each line will appear as an individual answer. You can also use keyboard shortcuts to more quickly complete your project.

The latest update is rolling out to Forms over the next few days. Forms is accessible directly from Google Sheets and Google Drive, or users can install the Chrome Web app for easy access from the browser.
