Update Of Facebook
I’m probably a day late and a dollar short on this update, but the ability to share stories from your news feed with other users and the ability to tag friends in your Facebook updates are the two main urks I had with the mobile app. I just recently caught wind of the update, so I just thought I would share with readers. Simply put, when viewing a story in your news feed using the Facebook app for your respective mobile platform, you can now opt to share or re-post the story so your friends can view it. This new feature is now on the Facebook mobile site as well.
Tagging (or mention to use Twitter slang) means that you can directly address other Facebook users if you specifically want them to see your update. It used to bug me to no end when my friends would “tag” me in photos so I can view them…and I wasn’t even in the photo. It’s not their fault, this was the only way a user could “get my attention” when using the Facebook mobile app. Now all users have to do is start typing my name, and the app will try to “auto-complete” with my name or other users similar to me.
Other Extra Features Add In The Facebook
Other features in the update include adding smileys, hearts, and other emoij in messages and sorting your news feed according to top stories or most recent. According to Inside Facebook, the share butting is one of the most commonly requested features for Facebook’s mobile app. Since approximately 20% of Facebook users are mobile-only users, it was a good idea that Facebook finally got around to implementing the share option.[ Source :- Pcmag ]
