Evernote Web Clipper for Chrome
Popular note-taking service Evernote has added some more goodness to its Web Clipping feature that lets you save anything you see online to your account, thereby letting you access it whenever you choose to.
The feature for Chrome now lets you clip from Gmail too. So, the next time you receive an important email, all you have to do is open the email and click on the Web Clipper feature. Doing this will save the email and attachments, if any, to Evernote. One should note that the clipper takes in only that which it can see, so if you want to save an entire email, be sure to expand the thread. Once saved, you can add the clipping to your notebook, assign tags and even add a note.
Here’s how it is done!
The saved clipping can be accessed on Evernote within a formatted note, complete with tags. The mail’s subject mail becomes the note’s title and all email addresses of recipients can be seen near the top. For Evernote Premium users this gets even better, since they can search any attached documents, spreadsheets, presentations and PDFs.
Evernote feeds updates to its service at regular intervals. In fact, only this month Evernote brought its popular “Reminders” feature to its Windows Phone and Android app users. Windows Phone app users can use the Reminders feature to keep track of their important notes, stay at the top of their collaborative projects and accomplish their tasks on time. Android users can add a reminder by tapping on the alarm clock icon in a note. Once they’ve set a reminder, users can choose a due date, if they choose to, using the date selector.[source:tech2]
